Mayor Jacobs recently posted in Facebook about this momentous occasion, "Centerville and Hickman County are indeed fortunate to have a facility such as this one.  As someone who has had family members who needed physical therapy, I can safely say this is a wonderful addition to our community. I am grateful for the faith Ascension Saint Thomas has placed in our town and county." 

The Centerville Board of Mayor and Aldermen unanimously approved the purchase of a new sanitation truck at the July 9 meeting in City Hall.

“We were planning on replacing our old garbage trucks,” Mayor Gary Jacobs said, “but we didn’t expect both of them to lay down on us at the same time.”
