Every Saturday morning at 10:00 for twenty years, the Grinders Switch Ensemble has performed a free musical program for anyone wishing to attend. The late Charlie Garner, a member of the Grand Ole Opry and bass player for Del Reeves, started the program over twenty years ago in a storefront on the town square as part of a retirement dream. The tradition brings in aspiring new musicians and established players each week as guest performers. The Grinders Switch Ensemble is a group of local musicians who donate their time to play in front of a live audience. They also have several CDs available for purchase.
