New Customer Procedures
We are pleased to serve you at the Town of Centerville. Here are a few tips about applying for a new service to make your transition easy. We provide water, sewer, and gas services for most of Hickman County. Sewer services are available to those located within the city limits. Application forms are listed below:

WATER SERVICE
(New Connections will require the cross-connection survey as well)
Home Owner:
If you are a homeowner, we require you to fill out an application, which can be found above. Your social security number and your driver's license (or a photo ID) are required for service. You will be required to make a $150.00 deposit. $100.00 of that total will be held as your deposit and refunded or applied to your account when your service is terminated.
Renter:
If you are a renter, you must fill out an application, which can be found above. Your social security number and driver's license (or photo ID) are required for service. We must also have a copy of your rental agreement or letter from your landlord permitting us to turn services on in your name. You will be required to make a $200.00 deposit. $150.00 will be held as your deposit and refunded or applied to your account when your service is terminated.
GAS SERVICE
Home Owner:
If you are a homeowner, we require you to fill out an application, which can be found above. Your social security number and your driver's license (or a photo ID) are required for service. You will be required to make a $150.00 deposit. $100.00 of that total will be held as your deposit and refunded or applied to your account when your service is terminated.
Renter:

COMBINED SERVICES, Gas and Water:
The same information is required, but we will combine both costs, and you will save $45.00.
BILLING INFORMATION
We bill our customers for water used. Your first bill will be for the previous 30 days of service. We have four billing cycles and four due dates, dependent upon a customer's location. Your bill is mailed ten days before it is due. If it is paid on or before the due date, you pay the Net Amount. If you are late, you will be assessed a 10% penalty and must pay the Gross Amount. If your bill is not paid by the 10th day after your due date, your service will be suspended, and you will be required to pay the bill and a $50.00 reconnect fee. This fee must be paid upfront and cannot be added to your bill.
