Sadly, Chief Irwin passed away after a long illness in late March of 2025. A new Chief has not been named yet.
Chief Irwin has been with the Centerville Police Department for over 27 years and knew he wanted to work in this department since he was young. He served in the Marines and Army National Guard before finally landing where he is today, all in preparation for the added duties and responsibilities of being the Chief Of Police.
