The Hickman County Quilt Guild will present its 14th annual Quilt Show on Friday and Saturday at First Baptist Church of Centerville, 123 Church Street.
Titled “Wrapped in Love,” this year’s show will feature 56 handmade quilts submitted by local residents.
The show runs from noon to 6 p.m. on Friday and from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.
Set-up will occur on Thursday, and guild members are seeking volunteers to help. Contact Sandra Clark at 254-709-7007 for information.
New this year, a “Quilt Turning” event will take place in addition to the annual show. This features vintage quilts from the Shady Grove Community and Hickman County with stories told about each of them by Kathy Tucker. There will be three performances: 3 p.m. on Friday and 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturday.
Admission to the quilt show will be $5, with children getting in free.
