This year’s National Banana Pudding Festival will be held on Saturday, October 5 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and continues through Sunday, October 6 from noon to 5 p.m. at the Hickman County Ag Pavilion and Fairgrounds.

Attendees can expect familiar activities, including the national championship cook-off, the Puddin’ Path, vendors and live entertainment.

This year’s entertainment schedule is as follows:

On October 5:

— On the arena stage, The Piney River Pearls, a group who performs original songs, classics and older blues songs with a rockabilly twist; 10:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m., and then from 12:15 to 1:15 p.m.

— The Muletown Stompers of Columbia, a 17-member clogging group, on Mable’s Front Porch stage from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., then from 3 to 4 p.m.

— The Derrick Cole Band, on the arena stage from 1:45 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. then from 3 to 4 p.m.

— Daniel Bey’s Dixieland Band, on Mable’s Front Porch Stage from 1:45 to 2:45 p.m. then from 4:15 to 5:15 p.m.

— Brand and Brooks of Dickson, a country rock duo, will take the arena stage from 4:15 p.m. to 6:15 p.m.

On October 6:

— Brothers in Black, a Johnny Cash tribute band, on the arena stage from noon to 2:30 p.m.

— Runaway Puppet Theatre, a touring puppet company, on Mable’s Front Porch Stage from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. then from 4 to 5 p.m.

— The Watson Brothers, a southern gospel and rock band, on the arena stage from 2:45 to 5:15 p.m.

— Ella and Blaine, a father-daughter duo singing original songs and covers, on Mable’s Front Porch Stage from 2:45 to 3:45 p.m.
