The Centerville Police Department reported the following matters in recent days, according to reports held by the department:
— On August 21, Connor J. Crowell, 28, of Franklin, was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, tampering with evidence and driving under the influence. According to Officer Tyler Mobley’s affidavit, he went to the Centerville Village Apartments, in response to a suspicious person in a parked vehicle. The suspect was found asleep behind the wheel and Mobley noticed an alcoholic smell on the suspect’s person. A sobriety test was conducted. A small orange container containing a white powdery substance and two one-dollar bills rolled up with white residue on them were found in the vehicle. The suspect grabbed the container and attempted to destroy the powder inside.
