The Centerville Police Department reported the following matter, according to reports held by the department:
— On February 22, Shawna Williams, 46, of Dickson, was arrested and charged with her second offense of driving under the influence and possession of a handgun while under the influence.
According to Officer Dusty Talley’s affidavit, he received word of an erratic driver who almost struck an officer along Highway 100. The vehicle was located and a traffic stop was made. The suspect was slurring her words while speaking. A search of the vehicle found two pill bottles and a pistol in the passenger seat. A field sobriety test was conducted.
