The Centerville Police Department reported the following matter, according to reports held by the department:
— On February 14, Vincent G. Lemay, 61, of Centerville, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and violation of the implied consent law. According to Officer Cole Parks’ affidavit, he went to a motor vehicle accident on Highway 100, before the Edwin Hickman Memorial Bridge, involving the suspect. The suspect said a vehicle had stopped too quickly in front of him for him to respond, resulting in a rear-end collision. The suspect was slurring his words and Parks could smell alcohol on him. A sobriety test was conducted.
