This morning, the first truckload of components for our new playground equipment arrived at C.A. Thompson Park. This is the first phase of our long-awaited rehabilitation of the former pool site.
Plans include renovating the old bathhouse to provide ADA-compliant restrooms and a new meeting room in the old concession stand area to accommodate birthday parties and community gatherings.
New fencing will be installed this year, and new elements will be added to the park for citizens of all ages.
