The Centerville Police Department reported the following matters in recent days, according to reports held by the department:

— On January 9, a citation of animals at large was written to Jamarist Kelley of Poplar Drive. According Officer Joshua Nelson’s report, the black dog caused “ongoing” disruption in the neighborhood, according to two neighbors. A records check showed that 33 calls to the Kelley address have occurred since 2021.

— On January 14, a 38-caliber revolver was turned in to Animal Control Officer Wilbur Lancaster. Detective Vincent Coates put the weapon into evidence storage. The owner’s identity was not known.
