The Centerville Police Department reported the following matters in recent days, according to reports held by the department and Hickman County General Sessions Court:

— On February 6, Iesha G. Jordan, 32, was arrested and charged with theft of property. According to Officer Cole Parks’ affidavit, he went to the Dollar General on Dickson Road where a manager, Brian Gross, said an employee had been stealing money. Gross said the employee, the suspect, had stolen more than $1,000 from the store by depositing money from the cash register into her accounts. The suspect said she had refunded items to cash then transferred them to her accounts, and that she had allowed three individuals to leave the store with items valued at over $500. The suspect said she had also taken money from the cash register.

— On February 9, Aaron C. Gordon, 29, of Centerville, was arrested and charged with criminal trespassing. According to Officer Neal Shaffer’s report, he went to Centerville Wine and Spirits, where the store’s owner said the suspect had entered the store despite being trespassed on February 7 for causing a disturbance.
